Elevation measurements in the northern area of mining areas Doubrava and Karvina Mines I in 2019

In the northern area of the Doubrava and Karviná Mines I mining districts on the border of the cadastral district Dětmarovice and Doubrava, mining operations are underway. For this reason, in order to identify possible mining effects on the surface and surface objects, the stabilized points in this area are surveyed regularly twice a year. Since 2014, the Institute of Geonics of the CAS in Ostrava has been selected as the contractor of these works. In June and October 2019, the surveying stages planned for this year were carried out, during which altogether 4 interconnected leveling routes, which are formed by these points, were carried out.

In the northern area of the mining quarters Doubrava and Karviná Doly I, on the border of the Dětmarovice and Doubrava Regional Authority, mining works are carried out. For this reason, the points in this area are stabilized on a regular basis twice a year in order to determine possible mine effects on surface and surface objects. Since 2014, the Institute of Geonics ASCR, v.v.i., Ostrava has been chosen as the contractor of these works. The first campaign in 2018 was held in May. During this time, a total of 4 inter-linked leveling routes were created, which are the points formed.The elevation measurements were made using the geometric centering method in the precision leveling category. The leveling measurements were performed with the SOKKIA SDL1X Digital Leveling Device (SDL1X11-41 No. 100333) combined with Inline Bar Leveling Lines - two three-meter TOPCON BIS30 Lathes (59273 and 59275) and one TOPCON Bar BIS10 (Part No. 59599). The execution of the height measurements was very difficult due to the terrain. The intention of this fact had to be very short, so that their numbers were increased. Despite these constraints, the principle of the same length of intent has been followed. Values were measured in the Bpv height system.
